These terms cover your use of the TeamRoots app and website. By using TeamRoots, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

Your account

• You sign in with your email address. Keep access to that email secure, since anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
• Use your real name so your team knows who you are.
• You must be 13 or older to create your own account. A parent can set up a login for a younger child, as described in the privacy policy.
• If you join with a team code, you're confirming you belong on that team in the role the code is for.

Clubs and teams

The club admins and coaches who set up a club decide who joins and what's shared with their teams. If you add information about other people, such as players or parents, you're confirming you're allowed to do so, for example as their coach, club or parent.

What you post

You keep ownership of what you add to TeamRoots, such as messages, schedules and notes. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people it's meant for, only so we can run the service.

Don't post anything illegal, abusive, harassing or hateful, anything that puts a child at risk, or anything you don't have the right to share. Don't try to see information you aren't meant to, disrupt the service, or use it to send spam.

Fees shown in the app

Clubs can list team fees and mark them paid. TeamRoots doesn't collect or process these payments; they're between you and your club.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from My account in the app. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk.

The service

We're improving TeamRoots all the time, so features may change. We work to keep it running and your information safe, but the service is provided as it is, without a promise that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as a missed game because the app was down.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use TeamRoots after a change means you accept the new terms.
